Varieties of Scotch

Written in 1996 for the husband and wife duo of Peter and Tracey Stewart, to whom the music is also dedicated. Peter is Scottish and Tracey is Irish, so two duos were necessary, the other one is Shades of Green Op.126. The theme used in Varieties of Scotch is 'Ye Banks and Braes', otherwise known as 'The Banks O' Doon', a song written by Robert Burns.
