Written between 1959-1962 and dedicated 'To Andrés Segovia and his wife on the occasion of their marriage'. This work had an extended birth and was also changed after its first performance. A detailed account of its composition can be found in Andrés Segovia, as I knew him by Duarte, published by Mel Bay Publications (96596EB).
