Nearly 20 years after the death of John W. Duarte we felt it was about time he made it on to his own website. A chance encounter in October 2022 was the spur we needed and we have done our best to collate, clarify, confirm and then publish all the details we think are immediately relevant. Some of the dates of the lute transcriptions are guess-work, but they correspond to his intense periods of work in this area.

Where possible, we have checked manuscript scores against their printed equivalents and if there are errors, differences or omissions these have been noted, in PDFs, on their respective pages.
