Volume 1 John W. Duarte Guitar Music

1 August 2022 saw the release of John W. Duarte Guitar Music volume 1 from Brilliant Classics (96184). Music for Guitar Solo and 2 Guitars features five first recordings, including Suite Ancienne Op.47 written for Ernesto Bitetti and Mutations Op.58 written for Angelo Gilardino. Badinerie Op.32a and Sans Cesse Op.34 were both written for the Presti/Lagoya Duo and English Suite No.2 Op.77 and Danserie No.1 Op.71 for the Greek duo, Evangelos and Liza. Two short solos complete the recording of which Nicola Montella plays the solos and the Belfort Guitar Duo (Antonio De Innocentis and Nicola Montella) plays the duos.
