Variations on a Swedish Folk Song

Written in 1980 for a Swedish guitar trio to play at Wigmore Hall, London. The tune is 'Wärmlandsvisan' (Song of Värmland) and bears an uncanny similarity to the tune Ma Vlast as used by Bedřich Smetana.
