Valse en Rondeau

Written in 1997 at the request of the American guitarist, David Starobin, to whom the music is also dedicated. Starobin was commissioning dances from composers for a recording and this is one of three separate dances Duarte wrote later in life. The music makes use of Duarte's interest in jazz and early music (the Rondo form).
