The Coolin of Rùm

Arranged in the mid-1950s, a folk song from the Isle of Rùm, in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland, maybe reflecting the origins of Duarte's father. Cuillin (Coolin) is the name for a range of mountains in the area. This is one of three orchestral arrangements made by Duarte: Next Market Day is complete and the third, The Green Bushes, is unfinished.

Instrumentation: Solo guitar, Flute, Oboe, Violin I & II, Viola, Cello and Double Bass
