Somerset Suite
Written in 1989 for the British duo of Brenda Dykes (flute) and Chris Kilvington (guitar), to whom the music is also dedicated. The four movements reflect the surroundings of the Cannington International Guitar Summer School, Somerset, England, of which Duarte was the course director. The original title was Cannington Suite, which was changed for the publication. This composition was funded by Spanish Guitars Cambridge.
