Larghetto from 'Sonata in D'

This is the middle movement of a three-movement Sonata in D Minor, written in 1946-7, which is published with Prelude in C Op.3. The whole Sonata (Moderato, Largo (Larghetto) and Allegretto scherzando) is now published by Doberman-Yppan. Terry Usher showed the Sonata to Andrés Segovia in 1948, which led to a 39-year friendship between Duarte and the Maestro. The manuscript has Largo as the tempo direction.

One of 'Two Pieces for Guitar' - Prelude in C Op.3.
