Grown-Up
Written in 1955 and first printed in 'Guitar Review' (No.18), the text is by Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892-1950) from her collection A Few Figs from Thistles (1920). As with Simple Prelude Op.19 No.1 (solo guitar), this was planned to be the first of a series of songs with easy guitar accompaniment. Nothing more came of it.
Instrumentation: High voice and guitar.
