Written in 2000 for the Italian guitarist, Domenico Lafasciano, to whom the music is also dedicated. '... not another 'cloned' rumba, tango, waltz or whatever, but something with more individual character,' as Duarte wrote in a letter to the dedicatee, 12 April 2000.
