Canción y Danza (Homage to Ruiz-Pipó)
Written in 1994 as the test pieces for the competition at the International Guitar Festival, Bath, Somerset, England. Duarte had first met Ruiz-Pipó in Paris, at the ORTF competition in the 1970s and their friendship continued from there. In preparing the score for publication a second version of the Danza was discovered and this has been included in the score.
