Partita III "Dieci Cori" Op.135 - New Publication

Partita III was written in 1999 for 'Duo Capriccioso' (Gertrud Tröster, mandolin and Michael Tröster, guitar). The title refers to the total number of strings of the mandolin and guitar. Although Duarte referred to the Partita as being in four movements, there is a fifth movement, marked 'Uscita' (Exit), at the end, although the page is blank. In a letter dated 4 November 2001 Duarte refers to the need to complete the work.

The music has been edited by the husband and wife duo of Tatsiana Drobysh and Vladislav Bláha, who have fingered the
music and helped with some of the technical questions arising from it.
